Two CMS Wrestlers Win District Championships

Two Clatskanie Middle School wrestlers came back with championships from the season-ending district tournament in Tillamook Dec. 18.

Trevor Lefebvre and Arlee Nosack each were champions in their weight divisions. Trask Hill took second place, and Dalton Littleton was a fourth place finisher for Clatskanie, coach Perry Smith reported.

The tournament involved teams from Tillamook, Rainier, St. Helens, Scappoose, Ilwaco, Astoria, Neah-kah-nie, Banks and Seaside as well as Clatskanie.

Flowers n’ Fluff Holds onto First Place

Flowers n’ Fluff remains in first place after the 14th week of the Bowling Bags women’s bowling league season.

Flowers n’ Fluff cut Johnson Logging a 4-0 loss; West Mart bested Clatskanie Mini Mart, 3-1; West Columbia Realty fell to Colvin’s Pub and Grill, 1-3, and Split Ends served Salisbury and Callahan a 3-1 loss.

Crystal Boothe bowled the high game of 207 and the high series of 479.
