BOARD MEETING NOTICE

The regular meeting of the board of directors of the Clatskanie Rural Fire Protection District will be Wednesday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m., at the main fire fire station, 280 SE Third Street, Clatskanie.

Agenda items include the consent agenda, citizen testimony, volunteer report, fire chief’s report and any other business needing to be discussed.

Columbia County Board of Commissioners

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Columbia County is completing two projects funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the Oregon Business Development Department.

Columbia County Flood Recovery Rehabilitation Grant Number D08016. Columbia County Flood Recovery Acquisition Grant Number D08029.

The location of the project is Columbia County. It is estimated that the projects have benefitted at least 130 persons of whom approximately 70 percent are low or moderate income. Both of these programs are Disaster Recovery programs.

The board of county commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at or after 10 a.m., in room 308, Columbia County Courthouse, 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, Ore.

The purpose of the hearing is for the board of commissioners to obtain citizen’s views about the projects and to take comments about the local government’s performance. Written comments are also welcome and must be received by Monday, Nov. 26, at Columbia County Board of Commissioners, 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, Ore. Both oral and written comments will be reviewed by the board of commissioners.

This is a public hearing. Interested parties may appear and be heard. Columbia County does not discriminate on the basis of disability and will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the county’s ADA policy.
